The festival celebrates both traditional and contemporary Mexico.  It is a true journey across the country, a one-off opportunity to sample the finest agave spirits and meet distillers and creators behind one of the most up-and-coming spirit categories.

We are coming back this Autumn on the 8th and 9th of September. With more brands, masterclasses and seminars. This year’s Tequila & Mezcal fest will be held at Studio 9294 located in Hackney Wick.

Hijole

Tequila is a “Pueblo Mágico“ in the state of Jalisco, full of traditions, festivities, mexican gastronomy and hard working people that give life to Híjole! At the foot of the Santiago River, you’ll find a 450 acre plantation full of history and magic where our tequilana weber blue agaves are born. From the first rays of the rising sun, we begin to clean the fields, hard work done with dedication that is reflected in the handling and care of our agaves. Our jimadores get the best out of each plant or “piña”, the unique shape which our bottle is inspired by, and have them sent directly to our production plant in order to maintain the authentic flavor of Híjole!, a silver tequila made the way it’s supposed to be.
