Though her chief ambition is to one day own all the dogs in the world, Karine busies herself in the meantime by being Patrón tequila ambassador for the UK, helping build and deploy category/brand training programs, being an expert on the brand and the category, working on drink strategy and helping build the organisation’s capacity to deliver year on year value growth.
Originally from France, she relocated to London after a long stay in Australia, because she thought it would be nicer to walk in the rain while admiring Big Ben.
Karine joined the London Cocktail Club group after running few bars in Melbourne. She started at LCC as a barback/waitress and ended up being General Manager of the Goodge St branch within few months. After getting a nomination for her venue at Tales of the Cocktails and working closely with few spirits brands, she realised her time as bartender/manager had come to an end and started working as Account manager for Mangrove.
As a sales person, her region was the whole London, looking after more than 25 brands. Hard work does pay and she got approached by Bacardi for the Patrón role. She spends half of her time travelling around the country to talk all things about tequila, providing education, brand and activation support to the top bars.
A relentless overachiever, Karine is also able to eat a whole jar of Nutella in less than 10 minutes.
