Also known as “La Loba Mezcalera” (the Mezcal She Wolf), is the dynamic Montelobos Mezcal US Ambassador with a distinctive style. Her mission is to honour Oaxacan and mezcal heritage and culture by sharing the art of agave in cocktails and the tradition of mezcal.
Since moving to the U.S. from her native Cancun, Mexico, Camille’s retro-styled cocktail innovations have graced the menus of several well-known bar programs in the world. Her passion and knowledge of Mexican spirits led her to Montelobos Mezcal, where for the past 3 and a half years she’s travelled the United States and occasionally Latin America on behalf of the brand sharing the story behind one of Mexico’s oldest traditions.
Today, Camille’s knowledge and enthusiasm for innovative cocktails play a complementary role to brand creator and agave expert Iván Saldaña. Together, they set out to share the uniquely balanced taste and versatility of Montelobos and the artistry behind agave.
Much like Montelobos bridges the heritage of its origin with the knowledge of the present and future, Camille draws inspiration from the culture in her current home of New York City. When she’s not producing awe-inspiring cocktails and sharing the deep-seeded traditions of the Oaxacan mezcal producers, she’s taking in the vibrant history, art, design, and beauty of the world around her.
