LUCHA LIBRE® MEZCAL ESPADÍN DISTILLED WITH GUAVA
In this special edition the 100% agave Espadín is distilled twice, then blended with natural guava from Oaxaca and then distilled for a third time. This mezcal distilled with guava is especially easy to drink and has subtle notes of traditionally cooked Espadín agave with flavors and aromas of guava and hints of citrus. A “vegan pechuga”, this mezcal is made with natural guava,a tropical and native Mexican fruit associated with health benefits.
This is a very limited edition produced in 2017. This production is artisanal, limited and in small batches, creating a signature mezcal. The maestro mezcalero (master distiller) is a fourth generation Zapoteco mezcal producer. The maestro mezcalero and Lucha Libre® promote signature mezcal in sustainable and fair trade fashion.

“Tobalá” is a Zapoteco word that means aromatic or hot maguey (agave). Our Tobalá agaves grow wildly for 12 years in high altitude mountains and canyons, providing a very special terroir.
Lucha Libre® mezcal Tobalá is rare and exceptional and is especially flavorful and aromatic. In our experience this mezcal offers dreams of Tobalá agaves that for 12 years grew wildly in the mountains and canyons with the sun, the rain and the stars.
