Tequila and Mezcal Fest Benelux Launches in Belgium

Tequila and Mezcal Fest have just held a press launch to formally announce Tequila and Mezcal Fest Benelux. The launch was held at the Mexican Embassy in Brussels, and was hosted by Ambassador Eloy Cantu Segovia and Europe’s Tequila Regulatory Council representative, Fernando Cano.

The first Tequila and Mezcal Fest Benelux is being held at Eskimo Fabriek in Gent, Belgium. The festival is looking to draw attendees from the entire Benelux region (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg). The aim is to introduce fine agave spirits to the region, allowing brands to introduce themselves to both the industry and consumers directly.

See a jimador in action at Imbibe London

U.K. industry agave enthusiasts will get the chance to see a real jimador in action at Imbibe London 2017. Third generation jimador, Jose Cortes, will spend a week in the UK. His feature event will be on the Imbibe Live cocktail lounge stage at 2pm on Monday 3rd July.

El Jimador has shipped blue agave plants from Mexico for Jose to ‘harvest’ live on stage. This is the first time such an experience has ever been hosted in Europe.  Join Casa Herradura’s global brand ambassador, Ruben Aceves Vidrio, host this amazing event.
